Excavated outside next to the patio in the landscaped area. Installed a 20” wide by 55’ deep sump pit in the excavated area. Cored into foundation to alleviate pressure under foundation and installed 4” perforated corrugated pipe. Tied in new perforated corrugated line into newly installed sump pit. Trenched 15’ and installed 4” pvc pipe and tied into existing down spout line that bubbled up in grass. Sump pump will discharge into this line. Backfilled pit with ¾” stone with sealed cover.
Televised ducts under slab floor and had water in ducts in lower living area. Ducts are concrete with metal fittings. Downspouts are going into ground and are going into perforated pipes. Need to resolve water issue by possibly lining perforated pipes.
