Cleanout repair and sewer line repair service call. 10-26-2023: dug up existing clean out in backyard and took measurements for lining from open hole. 10-27-2023: lined sewer from open hole 65’ to city main, installed new 4” clean out, backfilled hole.
Rodded sewer from 4” pvc clean out in back yard landscape bed 75’ to city main with 3” cutter heavy roots 50-65’, also used maxi miller to clean roots 50’-65’. Tvd sewer after rodding/ cleaning sewer found it was 4”pvc heavy roots at 4”pvc-6” clay, also 4” pvc had cracks and holes (thin wall pvc) for about 20’ appears to be the 4” pvc was pushed into the 6” clay pipe just before it takes drop into city main. We will give estimate to line bad section of sewer and also price to line entire sewer possible cracks in 4”pvc as well.
Televised sewer from outside clean out back into house and out towards city main. Pipe under house is cast and is scaled with maybe slight crack. Downstream from cleanout pipe may be Orangeburg. Was only able to get to 58ft from clean out with guide on. Took guide off and was able to get to main. Could have roots at 58ft. Suggest possible precision cleaning to remove roots and if necessary install spot liner.
We are cleaning all the underground duct work, and applying our trenchless cast mortar to all the heavily rusted fittings to restructure the metal in preparation for lining all the underground duct work with our duct lining material.
Customer was experiencing heavy sand blowing out of the underground duct work into the home, after doing a video inspection we found multiple fittings were allowing the sand backfill under the slab to enter the duct work, we were able to apply two applications of our duct lining product and seal the leaky fittings! NO MORE SAND blowing into the home!!!
