If one component of the hvac system loses power the thermostat will provide a communication error. After a thorough inspection of the whole system it was found that the outdoor unit was disconnected due to the siding company pulling the disconnect out to put siding on the house. Once the system has power restored to the outdoor unit the error code will reset. The furnace does have a high static pressure which is how hard or easy it is for the blower to move air in and out.
