Customer called in to have us change a part inside her toilet in the basement. Upon arrival customer showed me down to the basement toilet and toilet is a power flush toilet. Customer stated that her toilet runs nonstop and customer has a new flush cartridge that she is providing. Informed customer before starting we need to check the water pressure just to make sure the water pressure is not exceeding over 80 psi. check water pressure from the outside faucet and water pressure is close to 118 psi. Per code water pressure should be between 60 and 80 psi. Informed customer having high water pressure is like having high blood pressure. Over time, it will damage and prematurely fail plumbing components in the home. Gave customer options. Customer would like to discuss PRV replacements with her husband when her husband wakes up, but for now would like to proceed with replacing the flush cartridge for the toilet. Went ahead and installed custom supply flush cartridge for customer. Checked f
