Customer called in needing shower looked at. Customer has two shower valves in master shower. The one leaking is on the left side. Checked water pressure for customer snd water pressure at 75psi. Water pressure should be between 60-80psi. Informed customer we will need to go ahead and replace cartridge. Gave pricing snd customer opted to go ahead snd get work done. Installed new cartridge for customer. Took the time to clean inside the shower valve with a wire brush. No calcium build up. Saw that cartridge rubber seals have some chlorine wear and tear. Informed customer that investing in a water treatment system that eliminates chlorine will help with the longevity of plumbing fixtures but appliances as well. Checked for leaks snd no leaks detected. Did inform customer that their style of shower head holds water and drip for a couple of minutes but stops. Took shower arm off to verify that shower itself no longer leaks. 1 year warranty on shower rebuild.
