Customer called in needing sump pump battery looked at. System showing bad battery Upon arrival found that fuse to computer back up system blew. This could indicate multiple things from bad battery to bad pump. Checked battery and battery has dried up. Need to replace battery. System is original to the home is approximately 10 years old. Recommended replacing entire system due to the age. For now customer decided to start with battery replacement first. Went ahead installed new maintenance free battery and replaced fuse. Backup system working like it should. 1 year warranty on battery replacement
