Customer called stating heat wasn’t operating properly. Arrived and initiated heat sequence and gas valve opened but no flames, second attempt all burners lit ran for roughly three minutes and then out again. Upon third attempt only first two burners lit. Evaluated valve and found gas pressure was too low for propane. Adjusted the pressure and found that adjustment screw was stripped and possibly the cause of issue. Also found that fresh air intake has been leaking condensate onto valve since install due to no condensate trap being installed. Replaced gas valve under warranty for customer and added in a condensate trap to direct water to drain and not the interior of furnace. System operating normally upon departure.
Went for a maintenance call today. Tested for static pressure and is failing. Had a supervisor come and retest. Did a co test no co was detected when testing. Inspected heat exchanger no wear and tear. All electrical components are passing for system. Temp split is passing for system. Blower wheel, flame sensor, and pressure switch hose are clean. Went for a furnace service call today. Static pressure failed. Changed filter due to the old one being dirty. There was no carbon monoxide leak. Heat exchanger was in ideal condition. Temp split between the supply and return duct passed. Combustion analysis test passed. Blower motor amps passed. Blower wheel was clean. Thank you for choosing LBA services!
Completed AC tune up for customer. All aspects of system tested within manufacturer specifications. Advised customer on sweating duct work in mechanical room and will be returning to locate spot for additional fresh air return into mechanical room. System operating normally upon departure.
