Woke up to cold home, though I have automatic delivery, and by past experience I was about due for delivery, but because my tank had run dry in 2024 < while under Tevis, I thought I was out of oil again, called for delivery and was told tank would be primed. Delivery came in a few hours. (*****) but no heat. I called and was told that tank didn't need priming because I only needed 60 gallons. I was now upset I was still cold, and was told I didn't have service contract which I thought I had, Apparently I had AC contract, not heating, and i was told I couldn't get a contract because there was a current problem. I was finally told that delivery driver had already submitted service order. but I knew nothing about that, till I followed up with call to customer support/. Modern Comfort arrived that afternoon and replaced filter or something and problem was resolved. . Service provider was good and acceptably prompt. My problem is getting a service and maintenance contract for heat and ac, and what about fuel tank which I see on the web site. What do these contracts cover? Regular maintenance? emergency service? Can I be notified when contracts are due for renewal. Your rates are fair, Modern Comfort service is good, I am well into my senior years and would like to minimize the risk of being without heat in winter and AC in warmer months. regarding 4 stars for service is because of 2024 incident of running out of fuel and not priming the tank for several days. I assume this was a fluke, but it has left me hesitant to rely on you despite generally excellent service. (star system isn't working for me.). One more thing, how do you monitor when to refill tanks with oil?
