Receive the call that the AC unit was leaking water on the basement floor, upon arrival I removed the evaporator coil door and found that the pan was filled in overflowing. Cleared out the drain line and confirm that the pan drained down and that the water filled the condensate pump and also that the condensate pump is properly pumping the water out. I would recommend installing an easy trap with a float switch and a clean out system for future service and also to prevent water leaking.
