Arrived on site to check out the system for no cooling, upon arrival I confirm that the furnace fan motor was running and that the condenser is running. Went around the back and installed my gauges and ran a measure quick scan on the system. The unit is running with a ridiculously high head pressure, the condenser will need to be cleaned. There is no water access so we will need to fill up several pump sprayers from the office and we will need to use evaporator cleaner on the condenser. Allow the system to run and noticed that after roughly 15 minutes of runtime that the sound of the condenser changed and slowly the condenser fan motor stop turning. The bearings for the fan motor are bad and are overheating after an extended runtime and causing the motor to shut down. We will need to replace the condenser fan motor and blade, we can perform the condenser coil cleaning at the same time.
