Televised ducts under slab floor. Ducts are concrete ducts with metal fittings and connections. The ducts look to be in good condition. Looking at the furnace, the ducts under the slab are connected on the return side, so there is never going to be heat or air flowing into that room. Suggest a HVAC professional reconfigure ducts correctly.

Customer is experiencing water throughout their underground air duct system. To alleviate this problem, we are installing a perforated sump pump pit next to the furnace to capture the water before it gets into the air ducts. We are also installing drain tile under the furnace and running it to our sump pump to catch more water. We are going to discharge the water out of the left side of the customer’s home.

Video inspection of underground air ducts. Ducts are PVC with metal connections. Water is leaking into air ducts during heavy rains. There was standing water in the main runs and under the furnace. Downspouts need to be extended to reduce the water under the house. After the water issue is resolved the ducts should be spray lined with Duct Armor Duct lining material.
