Arrived on site for no cooling. Upon arrival AC was working. Customer stated that when they opened up the furnace panel the unit started working but then it stopped working again put the panel back on and it started working again. Looked at the thermostat temperature was not able to go up or down. Took off the thermostat and jumped in the thermostat to turn on the unit and unit turned on normally. Went outside to check the pressure of the unit, pressures were high for a R22 unit. High pressure reached at 310. Delta T inside the house was 10, woth 61°F being inside the supply duct work. Customer needs a new thermostat and a outside coil cleaning. Customer said theyll replace the thermostat themselves.
