Ran the new signal wire from the air handler to the condenser, installed new conduit and buried the line under the walkway and into the area by the condenser. Made all of the required connections and cycled the system, we found that upon startup that the machine was still having a communication error. We checked all of our connections and confirmed that they are all in good condition, the issue is in either the Infinity control or in the circuit board in the air handler. We disconnected the signal wire from the second floor condenser and connected it to the first floor condenser and found that we were still not receiving a communication signal. This confirms our diagnosis of a hardware problem inside the house. We ran a new wire from the thermostat to the air handler and we converted the system from a digital signal to an analog signal.
