Arrived on site to check out the compressor, upon arrival I confirm that we had 240 volts going into the contactor and 240 volts going out of the contactor. I removed the high voltage plug from the condenser and perform the continuity test on each of the wires to confirm that we had no brakes in the line and that full power is going to the compressor. I removed the capacitor and performed a microfarad test to confirm that the capacitor is working, all readings are correct. I installed a super boost to attempt to free the compressor, bumped the power to the condenser but the compressor did not start. I removed the fan from the unit and attempted to jolt the compressor free and then attempted to restart the compressor. The compressor is seized and will not turn over, the compressor has failed and will need to be replaced.
