another company came out and diagnosed the system with a bad compressor, they were quoted $4,800 to replace a compressor in a 10-year-old condenser. we will need to check serial number and cross reference with carrier to see if the unit is still in warranty, we will also get pricing and availability on a new compressor and also a 410A condenser swap out
