Recovered the refrigerant from the system, cut out the old compressor, set the new compressor in place and bolt it in. Perform the required suction and hot gas piping connections, performed a nitrogen leak test and evacuated the system to 330 microns. Performed a 10-minute decay test and confirmed that the system held vacuum. Charge the system with 5 lb 5 oz of our 410A as per the nameplate. Start up the unit and performed a measure quick scan, machine does not require any additional refrigerant and is operating and cooling properly at this time.
