Company arrived Thursday, August 18, 2022. The customer was having issues with a leak underneath their kitchen sink. Upon arrival company discovered the p-trap with a slight back pitch and it didn’t seem to be in far enough. Company gave estimates for a p-trap replacement and the customer chose to have the service preformed today. Company removed the existing P-trap and replaced with new. After replacing the p-trap company discovered the threads of the cast iron pipe were rusted and developed another leak. Company wrapped the pipe with thread tape and attached 1.5” pvc adapter via fernco coupling. Company informed the customer this was not a long term fix and recommends having the vertical drain line replaced. Company will honor a 2 year warranty on the p-trap assembly.
