Arrived for ac check on two systems. The main floor system condensing unit was not turning on when I got there. It was in a low pressure lock out. I bypassed the switch to get system to run. The unit is empty on refrigerant. My field supervisor Jared came out to discuss options. On the second system that runs the upstairs, I checked static pressure and it is running right at the max of .8. There is a 17-18 degree temp split. Filter was clean. At the condensing unit I found the capacitor has failed. Compressor and fan amps are good. I rinsed coil clean. I replaced capacitor. System is running upon departure.
