Upon arrival I began the AC tune up. First, I ran a static pressure test. This unit has a max rating of .5 and the system is testing at 1.14 at arrival. This was way too high and putting a ton of stress on the system. Next, I checked the blower speeds and noticed it was setup for a 5 ton system and this only has a 4 ton system so I lowered the blower speed down for a 4 ton and then the static wasn’t failing as bad at .85 but still above the max allowed. Field Supervisor Adam has arrived to help find a solution to the lack of airflow in the system. I continued my tune up. The refrigerant charge on the outdoor unit looks good and within specs. The compressor and fan motor are running within manufacturer specifications. The dual run Turbo200 Capacitor was testing within specs on both sides. My temp split at departure was up to 22 degrees which is a good temp split. Once the airflow is addressed, your system will last much longer than it would if nothing is done to correct the airflow. If
