Dispatched for annual AC tuneup. At arrival system is operating. During the tuneup, I checked compressor, fan and capacitor. Also, during the inspection we checked pressures, static pressure, and temperature split. All components of the AC are all operating with manufacturer specs. Biggest concern is the duct work is to restricted. When duct work has too much restriction it then creates turbulence in the duct work. This turbulence can create excessive noise from the duct work and also cause premature failure. Duct work should create a smooth flow for the air to get to each part of the house. When there is to much turbulence it begins to back-feed in the duct work and are losing the efficiency of the system.
