Greeted customer upon arrival. Customer led me to their attic where the air handler is. Turned on the thermostat for cooling. Hold on gauges on the condenser to check pressures. What temperature probes to check temperature split. Pressure seemed fine. At first temperature split was 13°. Room was not cooling. Customer stated that for a couple nights upstairs was not cooling. Also stated that suction line froze completely. Went to the attic to check all dampers if they were open. Stanford two bedroom was closed. Opened damper manually and bedroom started feeling cooler. Temperature split increase to 26°. Condenser was running for about an hour never froze the suction line. Informed customer about their units status, they acknowledged. Couldn't find problem with unit, did not charge customer. Side note customer been waiting for dampers estimate for a while.
