Upon arrival I began the furnace tune up. This house has 2 systems. One for the main floor and one for the 2nd floor. The static pressure on both units is rated for .5 max and both systems are failing at .96 & .94. This is causing both systems to run twice as hard as they were meant to be ran. The blower wheels on both units were clean today. Filters were changed before I arrived. Both systems have a 20x25x4 inch 3M Filtrate Filters in them. Temp split on the main unit was at 67 degrees and the 2nd floor unit tested at 33 degrees. The main floor system is 23 years old and we recommend having it replaced. The 2nd floor unit is 13 years old and it has a lot of the same issues as the main floor unit. The failing static pressure is just putting a lot of extra stress on these systems.
