Arrived to call for furnace vibration and blower ramping up and ramping down. Upon inspection I found no debris buildup in the blower wheel. With extended run time the blower motor itself would ramp up and down while the vibration would increase. The recommended repairs were to replace the blower motor and blower cage. With the age of the system the customer would rather replace. Next I performed maintenance on his other system. I cleaned safeties, performed a safety inspection, and checked amp draw on all motors. I spoke with customer about our Perfect Service Family Membership. We will stay in contact with the customer about system replacement as he would like a two stage Ruud to match his other system.
