Today the furnace in unit# 204B was diagnosed as having an inducer motor that has failed. In addition to this the indoor blower motor bearings have started to fail. The run capacitor for the indoor blower motor is underperforming as well. Due to the inducer motor being necessary for the unit to run I was unable to check the unit for proper function past the start-up cycle. The unit does follow the start-up procedure correctly. This is a time plus material estimate for the repairs listed above. I estimate the time for these repairs to be three hours at a rate of $149/hr during regular business hours. The cost for materials will be $1,462.20. The labor used for these repairs will be added to the cost of materials after the completion of the repairs. The blower motor is currently not in stock and will need to be shipped into Kansas City. The motor in the furnace now is functioning but the bearings are failing. All materials and labor used for these repairs will be covered
