Company arrived Saturday, March 25, 2023. The customer was having issues with their gas control valve to the water heater going out. Upon arrival company observed the customers equipment and attempted to relight the water heater. Company was successful in relighting the water heater and informed the tenant of the possibility of it going back out when the water comes up to temperature. Company checked the manufacture date on the unit and determined the water heater to be 8 years old. Company informed the tenant of the average life expectancy of tank type water heaters being 8-12 years The tenant would like to wait and see how the heater holds up before making a decision.
