Dispatched for possible gas leak. At arrival the gas detector was calibrated outside in ambient air. At the entrance of the house and once inside the gas detector did not detect any presents of gas. Moved down to the utility room allowed the gas detector to sense any gas in the room there was no indication. Then checked all fitting of the gas. This included a mega press fitting 3 shutoff, one flex gas line to the water heater and 1 union that connected the gas to the furnace. At no time did the gas detector sense a leak from those areas. The next area that was checked was the water heater gas valve and the gas valve in the furnace. There was no present of gas leaking from either component. At this time there was no sign of a gas leak.
