This morning (12/3/25) when I arrived the rooftop unit was not responding to a call for heat and the unit was shut down on a no flame error code. I diagnosed a failed gas valve in the rooftop unit that serves the yoga studio. The amp draw on the inducer and blower motor was checked along with the heat exchanger. The unit is completing it’s ignition cycle however when the gas valve receives voltage to open it doesn’t. I did confirm that there is nat. gas present at the unit. The gas was turned off at this unit for safety due to the bad gas valve. Verbal approval for the repair was given by Sarah. The part was picked up and brought on-site. The valve was replaced and the unit returned to heating. Post repair checks were successful and the unit is back in service. The yoga studio warmed up to 60deg before I left.
