Arrived to remedy an inoperable system. Upon inspection of the system, found that the furnace was cycling on the igniter. Tested the systems gas valve to ensure it is receiving signal from the control board. Tested the gas valve to ensure that it is receiving gas pressure from the meter. With both voltage and gas pressure the gas valve should be allowing the system to ignite and heat the home. Determined the gas valve is inoperable at this time. Lured the rest of the system to ensure the system will be safe to operate upon departure. Found that the blower wheel is coded in dust debris. With homeowners approval replaced the furnace gas valve. Performed a combustion analysis and measured the outgoing gas pressure from the gas valve. This ensures the system is heating appropriately and not using too much or too little gas. System is functioning properly upon departure.
