He relayed to me that the two rooftop units in the front row and in the north corner were not maintaining the room temperature. I accessed the roof and started with the n.w. corner unit. This unit was short cycling on a high limit. I checked the temp at the high limit and the the filters during this check were not packed but dirty as we will be replacing them soon. The filters were removed and 5e unit was cycled. The blower motor bearings, inducer motor and ignition sequence was checked and there was some spot in the flue gas deflector. The unit still short cycled with the filters removed. I went and spoke withJim and let him know what I was witnessing and that the next step would be to check the gas pressure to the burners and start specification checking the air temperature sensors for the unit.
