Arrived onsite for heating maintenance gas fired furnaces: 1 in the basement and 1 in the attic. Also dryer cent cleaning. Attic Furnace System. Homeowner mentioned lack of heat to one room. Opened the damper to that location. Turn heat on and confirmed operation. Changed filter 14x24x1 and 12x12x1 provided by homeowner. Brushed and Wiped down furnace blower cabinet and gas burners. Burners fired and are in good working order.. No visual impingement detected. Checked electrical.. Cleaned the flame sensor. Measured temperature rise at 40.. High return temperatures System is operating as it should. Performed dryer vent cleaning. Observed the white plastic accordion-style vent is aging becoming bridle. May need to be replaced in a few years. Performed repair as a courtesy.
