Customer called in about water heater not staying lit. Upon arrival, customer stated that she tried to relit water heater and wasn’t able to. I attempted to relit water heater multiple times and was unsuccessful. Called tech support and tested thermocouple, thermocouple failed test. Attempted to test gas control valve and wasn’t able to because the port needed to test water columns was seized up. Informed customer of findings. Customer wants to go over estimates before making decision. We will need to order parts from manufacture if customer proceeds with water heater repairs.
