The heat exchanger was checked using a match test, visual inspection and a combustion analysis. The vent motor was checked for bearing wear and confirmed that the sail switch is wired in and does shut down the burners if the motor quits functioning. The burners were removed, wire brushed and reinstalled, The pilot assembly was cleaned and a new thermocouple was installed. Gas pressure is in range and the flames were visually checked.
