Customer stated: little hot water. home owner stated they have to turn the water heater off in order to build up enough hot water to take a shower. Home owner also stated that they replaced the water heater in January of 2024 since they’ve had this issue since August’s of 2023. They have an electrical app on there phone that measures their usage and it says the water heater is pulling the most energy. Tech notes: called out today to look at a home that has very little to no hot water. I performed a plumbing inspection on home to find no leaks coming from any of the faucets in the home. I entered the crawl space to locate possible pin hole leaks to find everything under the home was converted from copper to pex. I checked all in the crawl space to find no leaks. I tried looking for a water meter but home owner is on a well pump with no meter. Resolution: I recommend having an electrician come out to take a look at the electrical units and solar panels.
