CUSTOMER STATED: Water heater is leaking. TECHNICIAN NOTES: Out to the residence today for the concern of a 50 gallon natural gas water heater in the basement leaking from the base. Existing water heater was manufactured in 1999. After discussing options with customer, she felt as it was best to replace existing pressure regulating valve and leaking water heater located in basement. RESOLUTION/RECOMMENDATIONS: Sold service estimate to replace existing pressure regulating valve and to install a new 50 gallon natural gas water heater with all new code required items. New pressure regulating valve and water heater system is basement is currently fully pressurized and is showing no further concerns at this point in time.
