Tenant States: Water leaking out the side of the home. Technician Notes: Determined leak coming from the side of the home is the relief line coming from the T&P. 2023 Rheem water heater located in attic has a T&P that is pushing water through due to high pressure. T&P will need replaced. Measured pressure at 180psi, which is dangerously high. PRV located in the garage needs replaced in order to regulate water pressure down to a manageable pressure for the home. Resolution: Replaced the PRV located in the garage. Installed a new Wilkins double union 3/4” PRV. Old PRV had to be cut out due to how it was installed and the bonding compound used on the threads. Set pressure to 60psi and tested for leaks. Replaced the T&P on the 2023 Rheem water heater in the attic. Restored water and tested for leaks/ proper function. Job Notes: Sewer clean out located under front porch. Job Status: Complete.
