CUSTOMER STATED: upstairs bathroom faucet is leaking in the master bathroom TECHNICIAN NOTES: technician found that the upstairs master bathroom faucet was improperly installed due to the style of the faucet and the thickness of the granite countertop. We cannot properly remove the cartridge or reinstall a new valve properly. RESOLUTION/RECOMMENDATIONS: to replace the whole faucet with an 8 inch replacement to completely resolve the issue. Upon further investigation, technician found that the water pressure to the home is 140 psi, which is full street pressure due to a very old regulator that is 15 to 20+ years old. Pressure regulating valve is located in the garage, due to the location of the pressure regulating valve we will need to make additional pipe modifications so that we can properly install the pressure regulator.
