CUSTOMER STATED: Water heater is leaking. TECHNICIAN NOTES: Out to the residence today for the concern of a leaking 50 gallon natural gas water heater located in the garage on a stand. Existing water heater was manufactured in 1998. Water heating system in garage will need to be replaced. While on site, I have also found a defective double union pressure regulating valve located under the existing water heater. Current water pressure is above 80 psi and I have made a choice aware of the concerns. RESOLUTION/RECOMMENDATIONS: Have you given the customer options to go through service for the water heater replacement. At this time they are looking to go through choice. No repairs made today. Waiting on an update from choice home warranty regarding the replacement of the 50 gallon water heater in the garage. JOB NOTES: Need to order a standard 50 gallon natural gas water heater.
