Customer States: There is a leak showing up in the living room ceiling. Noticed when someone used bathtub in master bathroom. Technician Notes: Out today to look into issue with the master bathroom tub leaking into ceiling. Water marks on living room ceiling. Inspected tub for issues. Found that the overflow plate/ assembly was installed improperly. Overflow gasket is about an inch off. Anytime bath is filled, water will leak into ceiling. Resolution: Unable to adjust from the front. Had to open up wall behind overflow plate. Cut roughly an 8x8” hole in the drywall to access overflow pipe. Cut pipe, shortened length, installed a rubber coupling and adjusted plate and gasket, sealed around exterior and reset plate. Tested for proper function. Job Notes: Bill to ResiPro.
