Customer/ Tenant States: There is a leak coming from the upstairs hallway bathroom tub. When they use it, it leaks into laundry room. Technician Notes: Upon arrival, we began running water in the upstairs hallway bathroom tub, leak began right away. Determined we will need to replace the tub drain. On a side note, the previous company that worked on this tub for some reason notched into the tub shoe. The cut didn’t go all the way through but weakened this area. There was also no gasket on the bottom side of the tub drain. Resolution: Installed a new tub drain with gasket. Ran water/ filled tub. Leak stopped. Tested again with no leaks. Time will tell if this repair will last due to the condition of the tub itself. Job Notes: No exterior sewer clean out located. Job Status: Complete. Autho: Bill to ResiPro.
