The tenants complaint is that they heard the water heater making a noise We found that the water heater is making a noise because the t&p is blowing off because of the high water pressure We also found that the water heater is installed incorrectly useing shark bites and pex and black iron piping The black iron was used to make a leg for the thermal expansion tank and it is so corroded and it is leaking in multiple spots The shark bite females connected to the water heater are both corroded and 1 appears to be leaking We found the water pressure to be well over 100 psi My recommendation is to replace the water heater and install it correctly We did replace the prv in the home Tested with no issues Job not completed Need to send estimate to resi
