Tenant States: Leak coming from the water heater. Technician Notes: 40 gallon natural gas Rheem water heater located in the main level garage on a stand is leaking from the bottom of the tank. I am unable to repair this water heater. Replacement is necessary. There is also a leak coming from one of the supply lines attached to the hot side of the heater. This was caused by a shark bite fitting not being seated properly. Resolution: Removed old water heater and installed new Bradford White 40 gallon natural gas water heater back in the existing stand. Included a new expansion tank, gas flex line, black iron gas pipe, gas drip tee, copper riser and venting. Restored water and gas, tested for leaks. Tenant will have hot water in the next hour and a half. They would not answer the door once I was complete with the install. Job Notes: Sewer clean out in front yard. Job Status: Complete.
