CUSTOMER STATED: The homeowner complaint is that there is a water leak from the thermal expansion tank that we installed TECHNICIAN NOTES: I found that there was a leak coming from the thermal expansion tank The leak was coming from the threads where it connects to the copper pipes The thermal expansion tank was only screwed in by about 5 turns So it wasn’t completely seated and sealed RESOLUTION/RECOMMENDATIONS: I replaced the thermal expansion tank Tested for 20 mins with no signs of leaks I did find like on the original visit that the water pressure is at 100 psi JOB NOTES: NEEDS NEW WO FOR PRV JOB STATUS: Job completed AUTHO: Completed under warranty ESTIMATES: No new estimates are needed The homeowner asked me about a pan I explained to them I’d have to speak to management because I was not aware of that issue
