Responded to a water leak incident involving basement flooding in several areas including laundry room, living room, bathroom, and hallway. Conducted comprehensive inspection and testing of water softener, iron mitigation system, toilets, sinks, and drainage system but could not recreate the leak. Determined potential causes may be septic drain field issues (water level rising above baffle) or possible groundwater infiltration during recent rainfall; recommended client contact septic service and landscaper for further evaluation.
