Responded to no cooling complaint in residential system where main electrical service had been previously damaged and repaired by others. Diagnostic testing revealed failed capacitor and contactor in outdoor unit, with potential condenser motor issues. Due to multiple component failures and advanced age of equipment, complete system replacement was performed rather than component repairs.

Extended and replaced fin tube baseboard heating elements in large room and bedroom following water damage remediation. 04/15/25 Rob J II The customer called in because they had a water stain on the basement ceiling. We suspected the main floor guest bathroom tub, but we couldn’t verify it while running water. As we started cutting into the water spot on the basement ceiling below, water began to pour out. After cutting further back into the ceiling, we discovered that the tub overflow caused the leak.
Clean out on bathroom stack not tightened as much as it should have been, re-taped and doped plug, tightened properly and tested by flushing toilet multiple times, no leaks.
Installed chimney liner and vented the water heater.
