Called to a residential customer's home for an emergency plumbing repair. The customer had a water leak and could not find the source. I used my skills and experience to diagnose the issue and perform the necessary repairs. Found that the water consumption had increased over the past 90 days, indicating a pipe leak. We used pressure and acoustic tests to locate the leak and then shut off the water valve, applied a pipe repair clamp, and replaced the damaged section of pipe. The customer was very grateful for my quick and efficient fix.
I was called to a residential customer who was experiencing issues with their air conditioner. Upon inspection, I found that the air conditioner was not blowing cool air. The issue was a refrigerant leak and we performed an annual AC maintenance on a 10 year old Lennox cooling system. Cleared the drain lines and checked the evaporator coils, which were in good condition. Added refrigerant and replaced the air filters. The AC service was completed, and the customer's air conditioner is now perfoming efficiently ready for warmer weather.
