Inspected galvanized main water line connection that was flagged during home inspection. Observed existing dielectric union was intact and not leaking. Determined that replacement would create unnecessary risk of breaking the water line below floor level. Recommended maintaining current installation unless leaking occurs, at which point customer should have well technician pull new water line into house.
