Totally satisfied with the service and the service technicians.
We have used Jackson and Sons for years and today Juan (and his co-worker) installed the 2nd heat pump we have purchased from them. Our last one was failing and after 2 recent calls for repairs (thanks Joseph and Kyle), we decided to go with a new one. All recent service calls, including our meeting for the estimate of the new system were done promptly. Shout out to Mike Acree for a great deal with an IRS tax credit. Juan was here promptly this morning to install, working quickly and professionally. We ordered on Sunday and had installed today. That's what I call great service.
Great service provided by Mr. Joshua Wright! Knowledgeable and friendly!
Friendly technician who explained what he was doing with both our AC units at two properties. Very thorough check up of our systems complete with photos to show us details. Service with a Smile 😊
Performed CMA Full Service on 3 Split Systems, and 8 Rooftop Package Heat Pumps. Cooling and heat checked on all systems including auxiliary heat (heat strips). RTU 1 - upon arrival technician observed the system not cooling/heating. Call was being received at the control board for cooling, however it was not making it to the contactor. After inspection of the system the technician discovered the fire alarm in the return was tripped. Tech removed alarm and blew out dust. Tech re-installed detector and powered on system. System now heating and cooling without issue. RTU 7 - system is cooling properly, however when testing the auxiliary heat, the technician discovered that the call signal was not reaching the contactor. After investigating further, the tech discovered the low voltage connector between the contactor and the control board had a wire that had come loose, this was causing the heat strips to come on intermittently. Tech sured up the loose wire on the connection and the heat

Tech turned thermostat on and found blower not running. Tech found no voltage at G. Tech jumped r to g at the thermostat and found blower running. Tech found the g wire was barely in the thermostat connection. Tech put g wire back in better and found the fan running with thermostat call. Thermostat wires are small and have a poor connection. Tech also recommends replacing thermostat. Tech sent estimates for both, customer wants to see how system does with the wire pushed in better. Tech also found evaporator coils were dirty and recommends ESA. Tech tested suction pressure and superheat to verify coil isn’t at freezing pressures, tech found low superheat but normal pressure likely from dirty coils
Will need to return and install reducer in flue and start up gas furnace.
