Responded to customer complaint of pulsating/whooing noise from outdoor heat pump unit during operation. Discovered condenser coil was significantly restricted with debris, causing airflow starvation which resulted in unit vibration. Removed shroud, thoroughly cleaned condenser coil, and completed full heat pump tune-up. System operated normally after service with no recurrence of noise issue.
