Performed annual furnace tune-up on Trane XV80 system. Inspected and found clean filter and blower, verified all electrical components within specifications. During heat exchanger inspection, discovered concerning rings and a crack on the burner inlet. Showed damage to customer, explained safety concerns, and recommended repair options. Tagged furnace as non-operational pending service advisor follow-up.
