Performed inspection on 25-30 year old Lennox forced air furnace that had been unused for several years while homeowner primarily heated with wood stove. Found evidence of rodent infestation in heat exchanger and significant component damage. Determined replacement of heat exchanger, igniter, flame sensor, and burners necessary before system can safely operate. Advised customer that additional issues may be discovered after initial repairs are completed.
