The client contacted us due to recurring water issues after using their washing machine. I inspected the previous work, which included a coupling and a p-trap connected to the washer box. I tested the cold inlet flex line at full blast and observed for leaks, finding none from the p-trap or the areas we had worked on. However, I noticed the discharge line to the washing machine was inadequately secured, likely moving during water discharge. I concluded that the discharge tube's movement caused the water to spray. I securely strapped the discharge line to prevent future movement, ensuring the issue is resolved.
